The Department of Treasury is undertaking a renovation project for the basement area of the Treasury Building. The scope of work includes demolition of existing doors and light walls, installation of glass partitions and aluminum frames, bricklaying, plastering, and painting. It also involves concrete leveling and installation of granite tiles, installation of wall skirting, wireway installation for cable management, epoxy self-leveling floor coating, air conditioning unit installation, and repair/renovation of exterior windows. Furthermore, the project includes exterior wall painting around the first-floor balconies, installation of safety features like wheel stoppers and column protectors, and a stainless-steel sink cabinet. Contractors are required to use at least 60% of domestically produced materials and are responsible for any damages incurred during the construction period.
