โครงการนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์หลักเพื่อจัดให้มีบริการอินเทอร์เน็ตความเร็วสูง (Broadband Internet Service) ในพื้นที่ขาดแคลนหรือยังขาดบริการที่ทั่วถึงในภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ (USO 3 กลุ่มที่ 2) ภายใต้โครงการจัดให้มีบริการโทรคมนาคมพื้นฐานโดยทั่วถึงและเพื่อสังคม วัตถุประสงค์เพื่อลดความเหลื่อมล้ำทางดิจิทัลระหว่างพื้นที่ชนบทและเมือง ส่งเสริมการเข้าถึงข้อมูล การศึกษา การพัฒนาทักษะ และการสร้างโอกาสในการทำงานอย่างเท่าเทียมกัน

ขอบเขตงานรวมถึงการขยายบริการอินเทอร์เน็ตบรอดแบนด์ไปยังพื้นที่ชนบทที่ยังขาดแคลน และการเพิ่มจุดบริการอินเทอร์เน็ตฟรีในสถานที่สาธารณะ เช่น โรงเรียน โรงพยาบาล ด่านตรวจคนเข้าเมือง และหน่วยงานรัฐต่างๆ เพื่อให้ประชาชนสามารถเข้าถึงอินเทอร์เน็ตได้ฟรี

โครงการนี้คาดว่าจะส่งผลให้เกิดการเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจในพื้นที่ชนบท สนับสนุนธุรกิจท้องถิ่น และส่งเสริมการริเริ่มธุรกิจใหม่ๆ โดยการใช้เทคโนโลยีดิจิทัลและแพลตฟอร์มออนไลน์ นอกจากนี้ ยังมุ่งเน้นการสร้างความเสมอภาคทางสังคม โดยการส่งเสริมให้ประชากรที่มีรายได้น้อย ผู้พิการ และผู้สูงอายุสามารถเข้าถึงบริการโทรคมนาคมและอินเทอร์เน็ตได้อย่างเท่าเทียมกัน

This project aims to provide high-speed internet (Broadband Internet Service) in underserved areas of Northeastern Thailand (USO 3, Group 2) under the Universal Service Obligation (USO) project. The objectives are to reduce the digital gap between rural and urban areas, promote access to information, education, skills development, and equal employment opportunities.

The scope of work includes expanding broadband internet services to underserved rural areas and increasing free internet access points in public places such as schools, hospitals, immigration checkpoints, and government agencies, enabling free internet access for the public.

The project is expected to drive economic growth in rural areas, support local businesses, and promote new business ventures through digital technology and online platforms. It also focuses on fostering social equality by ensuring that low-income populations, people with disabilities, and the elderly have equal access to telecommunications and internet services.
