The machine must be an Enclosed Automated Tissue Processor with efficient reagent and paraffin handling, a basket rotation system for better tissue-reagent mixing, and capable of processing various tissue sizes within specified times (e.g., Routine Surgical: 5 hrs, Rapid Biopsy: 2 hrs). It should accommodate at least 300 cassettes, feature in-process reagent rotation, alcohol quality monitoring, RFID reader, programmable functions, and safety systems including heat, agitation, vacuum, pressure, filtration, access control, and battery backup. The supplier must be a manufacturer or authorized distributor, provide a 5-year spare parts guarantee, import permits (if applicable), a 3-year warranty with annual checks, user manuals, training, and be ISO 13485 certified. A replacement unit must be provided if the machine is faulty within one month of delivery. Delivery is required within 90 days of contract signing, with selection based primarily on price. Payment will be made in one installment upon acceptance, and a penalty of 0.20% per day will apply for late delivery.
