องค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี ดำเนินการโครงการปรับปรุงถนนลาดยางแอสฟัลติกคอนกรีต สายแยกทางหลวงหมายเลข 4009 (กม.ที่ 64+420) - มอเก็ต เชื่อมต่อระหว่างตำบลเวียงสระ อำเภอเวียงสระ และตำบลควนศรี อำเภอบ้านนาสาร จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี โครงการนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์หลักเพื่อยกระดับมาตรฐานและความปลอดภัยของโครงสร้างพื้นฐานด้านคมนาคมในพื้นที่ โดยจะดำเนินการปรับปรุงผิวจราจรเดิมให้มีความกว้าง 6 เมตร และมีความหนา 0.05 เมตร ตลอดระยะทาง 6,600 เมตร นอกจากนี้ยังครอบคลุมถึงงานก่อสร้างและปรับปรุงระบบระบายน้ำ ซึ่งประกอบด้วยการติดตั้งท่อระบายน้ําพร้อมบ่อพัก ความยาวรวม 6,550 เมตร เพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการระบายน้ำและป้องกันปัญหาน้ำท่วมขังบนผิวจราจร และเพื่อเพิ่มความปลอดภัยในการสัญจรในเวลากลางคืน โครงการยังรวมถึงการติดตั้งระบบไฟฟ้าแสงสว่างจำนวน 200 ชุด ตลอดแนวเส้นทาง รายละเอียดทั้งหมดเป็นไปตามแบบแปลนและข้อกำหนดขององค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี
