โรงพยาบาลสิรินธรมีความต้องการจัดซื้อเครื่องช่วยหายใจชนิดควบคุมด้วยปริมาตรและความดัน พร้อมชุดวัดค่าคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์ จำนวน 4 เครื่อง เพื่อทดแทนเครื่องเดิมที่ชำรุดและเพื่อสนับสนุนการดูแลผู้ป่วยภาวะวิกฤติ โดยเครื่องช่วยหายใจนี้จะต้องสามารถใช้ได้กับผู้ป่วยเด็กเล็กจนถึงผู้ใหญ่ สามารถเลือกโหมดการช่วยหายใจได้หลากหลาย ทั้งแบบควบคุมด้วยปริมาตร (Volume Control) และควบคุมด้วยความดัน (Pressure Control) รวมถึงโหมดขั้นสูง เช่น PRVC และ SIMV มีระบบช่วยหายใจสำรอง (Apnea Backup) และสามารถวัดค่าคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์ในลมหายใจออก (EtCO2) ได้ นอกจากนี้ เครื่องต้องมีระบบสัญญาณเตือนที่ครอบคลุมเพื่อความปลอดภัยของผู้ป่วย มีหน้าจอสัมผัสแสดงผลข้อมูลการหายใจที่แม่นยำ พร้อมกราฟต่างๆ และต้องได้รับการรับรองมาตรฐานสากล เช่น IEC 60601-1 หรือ ISO 13485 การจัดซื้อครั้งนี้ดำเนินการโดยวิธีประกวดราคาอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ (e-bidding) โดยมีวงเงินงบประมาณ 4,000,000 บาท
