โครงการจัดซื้อจัดจ้างเครื่องมือแพทย์ “เครื่องเจาะกระดูกแบบไร้สาย โรงพยาบาลสุราษฎร์ธานี” มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อจัดหาเครื่องมือแพทย์ที่มีประสิทธิภาพสูงและเพียงพอต่อการรักษาพยาบาล เนื่องจากปัจจุบันโรงพยาบาลสุราษฎร์ธานีมีผู้ป่วยเข้ารับการรักษาเป็นจำนวนมาก ส่งผลให้เครื่องมือแพทย์ที่มีอยู่ไม่เพียงพอต่อการให้บริการ

อุปกรณ์ที่จัดซื้อในครั้งนี้คือ สว่านเจาะกระดูกชนิดไร้สายที่ทำงานด้วยพลังงานแบตเตอรี่ มีจุดเด่นด้านการใช้งานที่ยืดหยุ่นสูง สามารถเปลี่ยนหัวต่อได้หลากหลายรูปแบบตามความต้องการในแต่ละหัตถการผ่าตัด เช่น หัวสว่านเจาะกระดูก หัวเลื่อยตัดกระดูก หรือหัวคว้านโพรงกระดูก โดยตัวเครื่องมีรูผ่านตลอด (Cannulated) ขนาดเส้นผ่าศูนย์กลาง 4.2 มิลลิเมตร ช่วยให้การผ่าตัดและยึดตรึงกระดูกขนาดยาวทำได้ง่าย สะดวก และแม่นยำยิ่งขึ้น ตัวเครื่องทำจากโลหะปลอดสนิม แข็งแรงทนทาน สามารถนำไปนึ่งฆ่าเชื้อด้วยไอน้ำแรงดันสูง (Autoclave) ได้ทั้งตัวเครื่อง

ขอบเขตของโครงการครอบคลุมการส่งมอบตัวเครื่องสว่านเจาะกระดูกพร้อมอุปกรณ์ประกอบครบชุด ได้แก่ หัวต่ออุปกรณ์เจาะกระดูกแบบ A.O.Synthes/ASIF, หัวต่อจับลวดยึดกระดูก (Keyed Reaming Attachment), หัวต่อจับลวดยึดกระดูก (Wire/Pin Driver Attachment), กล่องใส่แบตเตอรี่ปลอดเชื้อ (Aseptic housing) และฝาครอบใส่แบตเตอรี่ (Aseptic shield) โดยกำหนดส่งมอบงานทั้งหมดภายใน 120 วัน และต้องมีการรับประกันคุณภาพสินค้าเป็นเวลาไม่น้อยกว่า 1 ปี
