โครงการจ้างก่อสร้างซ่อมสร้างผิวทางแอสฟัลต์คอนกรีต งานบำรุงถนนสาย กส.4055 แยกทางหลวงหมายเลข 2009 - วัดถ้ำไทรทอง อำเภอหนองกุงศรี จังหวัดกาฬสินธุ์ ดำเนินการโดยสำนักงานทางหลวงชนบทที่ 16 (กาฬสินธุ์) กรมทางหลวงชนบท มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อปรับปรุงและซ่อมสร้างผิวทางให้อยู่ในสภาพที่สะดวก ปลอดภัย ป้องกันอุบัติเหตุและอันตรายต่อชีวิตและทรัพย์สินของประชาชนผู้ใช้เส้นทาง โดยใช้เทคโนโลยีการหมุนเวียนวัสดุชั้นทางเดิมมาปรับปรุงคุณภาพใหม่ในที่ (Pavement In-Place Recycling) ร่วมกับการปรับปรุงผิวทางโดยวิธีผสมร้อนที่โรงงาน (Hot Mix In-Plant Recycling) โครงการนี้มีวงเงินงบประมาณจัดสรรทั้งสิ้น 8,000,000.00 บาท (แปดล้านบาทถ้วน) จัดซื้อจัดจ้างด้วยวิธีประกวดราคาอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ (e-bidding) โดยใช้เกณฑ์ราคาในการพิจารณาคัดเลือกผู้ชนะการเสนอราคา และมีกำหนดระยะเวลาส่งมอบงานภายใน 100 วัน นับถัดจากวันลงนามในสัญญาจ้าง
