โครงการตรวจวินิจฉัยการติดเชื้อวัณโรคแฝง (Latent Tuberculosis Infection: LTBI) ด้วยวิธี Interferon Gamma Release Assay (IGRA) สำหรับหน่วยงานรัฐ เป็นโครงการที่มีความสำคัญต่อการควบคุมโรคติดเชื้อในประเทศไทย โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์หลักเพื่อตรวจวินิจฉัยผู้ที่มีการติดเชื้อวัณโรคแฝงในระยะเริ่มต้น ซึ่งยังไม่แสดงอาการ แต่มีความเสี่ยงต่อการพัฒนาเป็นวัณโรคปอดในอนาคต โดยเฉพาะในกลุ่มเสี่ยงสูง เช่น ผู้ป่วยเบาหวาน ผู้ต้องขัง ผู้สูงอายุ หรือผู้ที่มีประวัติสัมผัสผู้ป่วยวัณโรค โครงการนี้ใช้ชุดตรวจ IGRA ที่มีความไว (Sensitivity) และความจำเพาะ (Specificity) สูง ร่วมกับการใช้เลือดที่ผ่านการปั่นเหวี่ยงด้วยสารละลายเฮพาริน (Heparinized Whole Blood) ซึ่งต้องผ่านการรับรองจากองค์การอนามัยโลก (WHO) และมีการใช้ระบบการจัดการข้อมูล (Laboratory Information System: LIS) แบบอัตโนมัติเพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการติดตามผลการตรวจ โครงการนี้ยังรวมถึงการจัดซื้อวัสดุอุปกรณ์ ระบบการวิเคราะห์อัตโนมัติ (Automated Analyzer) การฝึกอบรมบุคลากรทางการแพทย์ และการจัดทำรายงานผลการตรวจอย่างเป็นระบบ ซึ่งมีความสำคัญต่อการวางแผนการรักษาและป้องกันโรคในระยะยาว

This project aims to diagnose latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) using the Interferon Gamma Release Assay (IGRA) method for government agencies. It targets high-risk groups such as diabetic patients, inmates, the elderly, and individuals with a history of tuberculosis exposure. The project involves the procurement of IGRA test kits, heparinized whole blood, automated analysis systems, and a laboratory information system (LIS) to ensure high accuracy, patient safety, and efficient data management. Training for medical personnel and continuous monitoring of test results are also included, supporting long-term disease prevention and control efforts.
