This document specifies the technical requirements for a floor-standing blood refrigerator for blood bank use. The objective is to procure a refrigerator that maintains a stable temperature for blood storage according to standards. The refrigerator must have a capacity of at least 600 liters (20 cubic feet) and be able to store at least 250 units of 450 ml blood bags. It features a microprocessor-based temperature control system, set for a normal operating temperature of 4°C with a temperature uniformity of +/-1°C. Additionally, it includes a forced air circulation system that stops automatically when the door is opened, an automatic defrost system, and audible/visual alarms for temperature deviations, backup battery status, or electrical system issues.
