องค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดตราดประกาศโครงการก่อสร้างขยายไหล่ทางถนนคอนกรีตเสริมเหล็ก บนถนนพัฒนาการปลายคลอง ในพื้นที่หมู่ที่ 3 ตําบลวังกระแจะ อําเภอเมืองตราด จังหวัดตราด โครงการนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อปรับปรุงและขยายโครงสร้างพื้นฐานด้านคมนาคมให้มีประสิทธิภาพและปลอดภัยยิ่งขึ้นสำหรับประชาชนในพื้นที่ โดยมีขอบเขตงานหลักคือการก่อสร้างไหล่ทางคอนกรีตเสริมเหล็กขนาดกว้าง 1 เมตร ยาว 1,800 เมตร และหนา 0.15 เมตร คิดเป็นพื้นที่รวมไม่น้อยกว่า 1,800 ตารางเมตร การก่อสร้างทั้งหมดจะต้องเป็นไปตามแบบแปลนและมาตรฐานที่องค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดตราดกำหนดไว้ โดยมีข้อกำหนดสำคัญเกี่ยวกับการใช้วัสดุก่อสร้างที่ผลิตในประเทศ ผู้รับจ้างจะต้องใช้วัสดุก่อสร้างหรือครุภัณฑ์ที่เป็นผลิตภัณฑ์ที่ผลิตภายในประเทศไม่น้อยกว่าร้อยละ 60 ของมูลค่าวัสดุก่อสร้างทั้งหมดที่ใช้ในโครงการ และหากมีวัสดุที่เป็นเหล็ก จะต้องใช้เหล็กที่ผลิตในประเทศไม่น้อยกว่าร้อยละ 90 ของปริมาณเหล็กที่ใช้ทั้งหมด ผู้รับจ้างต้องจัดทำแผนการใช้วัสดุในประเทศและยื่นต่อผู้ว่าจ้างภายใน 30 วันหลังลงนามในสัญญา หากไม่ปฏิบัติตามอาจถูกยกเลิกสัญญาได้ โครงการนี้จึงเหมาะสำหรับผู้รับเหมาที่มีความเชี่ยวชาญด้านงานถนนคอนกรีตและสามารถจัดหาวัสดุตามข้อกำหนดการส่งเสริมผลิตภัณฑ์ในประเทศได้
